The visit to this enchanting University, leaves a deep impression on the visitor. The architectural contrast between the elegant spires, cobbled streets, ancient colleges and green courtyards, cannot be easily forgotten.
After visiting one of the most interesting colleges, the trip continues through the Cotswolds with its gentle hills and old villages. The area is steeped in history, from castles to Manor Houses, Neolithic stones and old cottages, many with a thatched roof. Among them, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, residence of the Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill who is buried nearby.
Arriving in Stratford Upon Avon, the scenery is breathtaking.

No sooner does one recover from the extraordinary visit to the megalithic temple, then the tour continues across the river Avon to Bath plunging you back into the 1st Century.
The City of Bath is one of the most famous secrets of England.
Still partly buried undiscovered underground, the Romans established a complicated system of baths and a Sacred Temple, over a natural hot spring, nearly 2000 years ago!
During the time at your disposal, you can taste the Hot Spring waters and there is a chance of swimming in the Spa nearby. Each day, 1.5 million litres of Hot Water still pour out from underground from the natural spring.
The Spa was rediscovered in the 18th c. and the Palladian stile of architecture built. It can be seen at its best in its most famous squares called: “Circus” and “Crescent”. You can also admire Bath Abbey, Sully Lunn House and Pulteney Bridge.

Departing towards the South of England through the County of Kent also known as “The Garden of England”, the trip takes you along the route of popular and religious tradition: “The Pilgrim Way”.
Immortalized by Geoffrey Chaucer in the 14th. C. in his most famous book: “Canterbury Tales”, the city is the cradle of Christianity in Britain.
Just before our arrival, the first glimpse of the Cathedral does impress with its majestic beauty, but nothing prepares you for the intricate medieval stonework of this “Flower of the Perpendicular Style”. It became a place of pilgrimage in 1170 when St Thomas a Becket was murdered inside his own Cathedral.
Leaving Canterbury, another 16 miles to the South coast of England to see the famous White Cliffs of Dover and later passing “Le Shuttle” near the entrance to the Tunnel linking England to France.
The last stop is for the visit of Leeds Castle, one of the prettiest in England.
Surrounded by a moat and in the middle
of an enormous park, the castle contains a large collection of medieval furniture, tapestries and old paintings.
The castle includes a large variety of facilities from the licence to marry, to an elegant Tea Room, Aviary, idyllic gardens, wooded hills and it is heaven for children for its maze, nature trails and small jeep wagons.
