July - August September

Every month: Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle, sometimes on alternate days and weather permitting.

September:: Election of the Lord Mayor selected from the City Corporation Aldermen. Every year since 1546 a new Lord Mayor is selected in The City Guildhall.

July – September: The Proms, Royal Albert Hall,

May - September: Outdoor Shakespeare Plays: Reg. Pk & Kenwood Pk

September: Richmond to Greenwich approx. 300 strong Boat Race. Rowing race from wherries to war canoes, Cornish Gigs to Chinese dragon boats, international cruisers, sightseeing vessels from Embankment and Greenwich.

September: Mayor's Thames Festival. Open-air arts festival which has grown since its launch in 1997, showing street arts and entertainment, a mix of fireworks, dancing, music, costumes, a Riverside Market stalls, food, crafts, musicians, dancers and performers in colourful floats.

September: London Open House Weekend. Celebrates London's architecture with free entrance into many buildings not usually open to the public. Sorry: 'The Guerkins' is fully booked.

September - February: Imp War Museum Major exhibits marking past conflicts from the Spanish Civil War, the Second World War and the austere post-war years. Sculptures, lithographs, textiles and shelter drawings showing vivid war moments.

July - September: . The Summer Opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace. The State Rooms are used extensively by The Queen and Members of the Royal Family to receive and entertain guests on State, ceremonial and official occasions.

September - October: London Fashion Week. Over 100 Designer Collections from British designers will be on sale at 'reduced' prices. Temperley, Lulu Guinness, Ghost, Boyd, Juicy Couture, Johnny loves Rosie, Gil Carvalho and others in an unusual marquee setting.

October - January: National Gallery major events put together by the most talented historians & a top London Venue for Business Meetings.
